What We Do
Specialising in hydraulics, hi-rail and rail attachments we offer both field service and workshop facilities.
Our Engineering workshop is equipped with lathes, milling machines, hydraulic test facilities, 50 tonne hydraulic press, 4 tonne vehicle hoist, heavy fabrication facilities, 5 tonne over head crane, Narrow / standard gauge rail test track facility, spray booth and wash bay.
Our Engineering department consists of a mechanical engineer and undergraduate engineer. We utilise the latest Solids Modeling and Finite Element Analysis software ensuring robust and efficient designs. All of our Hi-Rail designs are third party reviewed through independent Engineering consultancy firms.
Our qualified trade staff includes Fitter/Machinists, Boilermakers, Mechanics and Auto Electricians
We specialize in Service & Maintenance, Hydraulic Cylinder Repair, Pumps, Valves, Motors, Height & Slew Restrictors, General Machining, Attachment Repairs, Buckets, attachment piping for earthmoving equipment including hammers, quick hitches, tilt/rotator hitches, tilt buckets etc.
We are an authorised ASA & ARTC compliance testing facility for Road/Rail vehicle yearly inspections.
We also service and repair all brands of Rock Hammers.
Hi-Rail
We have 16 years’ experience in the manufacture, installation, supply and maintenance of Road-Rail and Hi-Rail drive and guidance systems compliant to AS7502:2016 and any Rail Infrastructure Manager specific requirements at the customer’s request. We can supply and install Road-Rail guidance kits to suit vehicles up to 30,000 kg GVM and can manage road and rail approvals. Our Hi-rail kits can be fitted to earth moving equipment up to 20,000 kg GVM. All designs are reviewed by independent Engineering consultants ensuring that we maintain our reputation of safety and quality.
Attachments
We have been manufacturing hydraulic rail maintenance attachments to complement our full range of Hi-Rail machines for over 16 years. Our attachment range includes Tampers, Sleeper Grabs, Ballast Brooms, Ballast Undercutters, Rail Lifters etc to fit any hitch make and model.
